Known as Impenetrable Forrest, this park consists of 330 km² of lush rain forest on steep terrain and thick foliage in abundance. It is located in southwestern Uganda at the end of the western Rift Valley. He is a protected area for the well-known mountain gorillas. Watching these creatures is a spectacular and unforgettable experience. Crossing the terrain is harsh and exhausting, but the long walk is worth it for this unique experience. Visitors can also see chimpanzees, elephants, small antelope, over 360 bird species and 200 butterfly species. This includes 23 species of birds that can only be found in this forest.

This is a home for the world’s most endangered primates, with nearly half the population living here, making it a World Heritage Site. Built in 1992 in the southwestern part of Uganda with a surface area of 327 square kilometres, this home of gorillas has since become one of the world’s most cherished sites of world heritage. Significantly impenetrable by its name, this park is intensified by heavily tangled vegetation with many hills and valleys that make it a special place to visit and see these endangered mountain gorillas. Bwindi can sometimes be cold and while you’re here or planning to visit this World Heritage Site, it’s wise to wear something warm for yourself. However, this World Heritage Site can be visited all year round and it is always recommended to use 4 × 4 vehicles to avoid getting stuck on the way.

This National Park is home to 10 primates, 350 species of birds and over 60 species of butterflies and moths. A road trip to this beautiful place takes you between 8 to 10 hours, but there are flights that can be arranged from Kajjansi airstrip or Entebbe airport to the park and you can always be picked up from your guide or hotel where you will stay
